VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Finance Analyst for the Management Accounting team. This position is based in Stabio, Switzerland.

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the Management Accounting Settlement Team and reporting to the Director of Management Accounting and Financial Projects, you will be responsible for the off-invoice discounts documents creation and registration, as well as for the reconciliation of the customer Account Receivable position related to Commercial terms and conditions (T&C)
You will continuously interact and work with the Management Accounting team responsible for the monthly financial closure
You will also work closely with the Credit Department, to analyse and solve the disputes cases, as well as with Brand Sales & Operation teams to address any discrepancies surrounding customer claims
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Credit Note creation
Ensuring the timely creation of the credit note for off – invoices discounts and promotions:
Schedule and manage the settlement calculation run in SAP
Validate the settlement proposal in terms of customer eligibility
Release of the calculation run to create the credit notes
Verifying credit notes posting in the general ledger (SAP FMS)
Debit Note registration
Manage debit note registration for off -invoices discounts and promotions:
Manage the tracking of the debit notes received from Customers for off-invoice discounts
Validate the debit note with the agreements open in SAP in terms of commercial conditions, amount, currency and settlement partner
Connect with Management Accounting, Sales & Ops to assess the debit note correctness and address any discrepancies
Register the debit note in SAP through Coupa platform
Reconcile the financial posting of the debit notes in SAP and in Vistex
Customer Reconciliations
Manage the Customer Accounts Receivable reconciliation
Closely work with the Management Accounting team to address any discrepancy on the T&C conditions and reserves balances
Collaborate with the Credit Department to ensure all the disputes related to T&C components are correctly and timely addressed for resolution
SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
A Degree in Management Engineering, Finance, Accounting or Economics will be beneficial
Several years’ experience in the finance department of a company, preferably in multinational environment under US GAAP, and/or Big Four is highly advantageous
A solid accounting background with analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles are required to be successful in this position
Strong Excel skills are essential, and a working knowledge of SAP and IBM Cognos Business Intelligence would be beneficial
Professional communication skills with the ability to use English in a business environment is essential
Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise
Highly numerate with an eye for detail
