About the Role
As a Director of Order to Cash, you will be responsible for overseeing the order to cash process for all commercial B2B accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management, credit, collections and cash processes, and the ability to manage a team of credit, billing, collections and account receivables professionals.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Develop and implement effective collections strategies to reduce delinquency rates and improve cash flow.
- Manage a team of collections and account receivables professionals, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Monitor and analyze collection trends, and adjust strategies and tactics as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other departments such as finance, accounting, and legal to ensure compliance with relevant policies and process level controls.
- Develop and maintain reporting and analytics that provide insight into collections performance and trends.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to team members to improve performance.
- Manage the collections portfolio, including setting goals and objectives, monitoring results, and reporting on progress to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to collections, credit, risk management and internal controls.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and partners, including credit reporting agencies and collection agencies.
- As a project manager, handling several projects that include acquiring BPO partners, implementing collections tools, and continuously managing order-to-cash strategies.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance/FinOps/FinTech
- Demonstrated leadership experience in effectively leading Collections and account receivable teams and programs through business evolution and growth cycles
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or master’s degree in accounting or finance
- Director level experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related internal application of transportation logistics (e.g., Director of Collections, Cash Leader)
- Demonstrated experience scaling processes with quality
- Demonstrated effectiveness at managing major transformations and organizational projects
- Proficient in collaborating with both internal and external audit teams, as well as managing control reviews.
- Having expertise in acquiring and executing collections tools, as well as collaborating with IT teams to implement changes to business processes.

For California-based roles: The salary range for this role is $147,675 per year - $221,375 per year
For Colorado-based roles: The salary range for this role is $134,250.00 per year - $201,250 per year
For Washington-based roles: The salary range for this role is $147,675 per year - $221,375 per year.
