Due to our continuing growth, we seek to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team in August 2023.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, setting high expectations for pupils within the classroom. They will help to create an exciting environment for pupils to make progress with a high focus on communication and interaction skills, social skills and emotional regulation
Working in Dubai is a fast-paced and rewarding experience, however, it is a demanding and rigorous working environment which requires committed and motivated professionals.
Requirements
- Trained Teaching Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Must have experience of working in EYFS and/or Primary
- Ability to support the delivery of an adapted curriculum to meet the needs of the children
- Ability to deliver creative learning activities
- Ability to support creative learning environments
- Ability to support the implementation of Education Plans
- A clear personal philosophy of education
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to understand challenging behaviours and support the implementation of effective behaviour management strategies
- An excellent understanding of how to teach the acquisition of early phonics and mathematical skills

Shortlisting / Interview Process:
Candidates succeeding to the short-list phase will be asked for a professional portfolio which provides a ‘flavour’ of you and your teaching success to date to be submitted in advance and invited to deliver a short 40-minute lesson to the relevant year group followed by an interview with key leaders.
