We develop green projects and infrastructure supporting the transition to an emission-free ammonia and hydrogen industry. From concept to operational facilities, Proton Ventures offers consultancy support, project development management, feasibility study and FEED study engineering services, up to and including the actual EPC works. Engineering Manager at Proton Ventures
You will lead a multidisciplinary engineering team and will be responsible for directing the related works assuring technical quality. This includes conducting feasibility studies, design of competitive solutions during the production of a tender or supporting a project during its execution, e.g. technical works related to EPC/EPCM projects, support to the company’s innovation projects.
Specific tasks and responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
- Develop, coordinate and update the engineering standards, processes and tools, and assurance processes in line with the quality and environmental company management systems.
- Manage internal and external interfaces between the engineering discipline teams and the operational team
- Develop, motivate, and maintain the discipline leads
- Compile and coordinate the workload & manpower forecasts of the various projects.
- Monitor and report the manpower project reporting together with the projects controller
- Participate in the projects risk & opportunities analysis and monitor the relevant mitigation plans
- Provide troubleshooting in daily operations challenges in projects, departmental and company wise
- Structure and kick off the new projects based on the sales & BD team handover by compiling project teams, relevant organograms
- Monitor the project execution cost and schedule progress and report any misalignments to the COO
- Support the sales & BD team during the tender phase with technical requirements coordination
The person we are looking for
The best combination of experiences, skills and background for this vacancy is:
- BSC or MSC in engineering with 5-10 yrs. experience in department organisation environment.
- Sound management skills, able to initiate and complete engineering assessments, together with others, within the estimated time frame and with top quality.
- Customer focused and keen on achieving results, understanding the interests of the organization.
- English proficiency: speak and write English at a professional level;
- Thorough insight into the industry, which you will develop to become an expert on the subject matter.
