R&K Drysdales are currently recruiting for Dispatch Operatives.
No previous dispatch experience is required as full training will be provided, however will be seen as beneficial in the application. A valid counterbalance forklift license or previous experience on a counterbalance forklift is beneficial for the role, however full training will be provided on a counterbalance forklift, so is not necessary. An ability to do manual handling is required for the role, as it can be a physically demanding job with lifting trays of products onto pallets.
Pay will be a salary of £23,175.00 per annum which is paid monthly. The role asks you to be fully flexible from Monday through to Sunday as the shifts pattern is a 5 on 3 off schedule, however this can be negotiated if absolutely necessary. During the peak season at Christmas the candidate may need to work up to 60 hours per week, but normally the working hours will be around 40hrs per week.
Communication is key within this role as you will be working as part of a team. The successful candidate will have great attention to detail and excellent organisation skills to ensure customer orders are picked and fulfilled to the highest standard.

Job duties include:
· Loading goods onto collection vehicles
· Checking products correspond with the delivery notes
· Safe operation of the forklift by conducting safety checks and completing records
· You will be picking and packing orders in the loading bay ready to dispatch
· Assisting Dispatch Supervisors when necessary
· Seek to continually improve on matters such as waste reduction and productivity
· Heavy lifting may be required
Essential requirements include:
· Forklift Truck Licence/Experience
· Can speak and read English
