We are seeking a Creative Industries Officer to join our Economy and Culture team.

The Creative Industries Officer plays a key role in supporting our creative community and co-leads the implementation of Council’s cultural activities and initiatives. The role assists Council to make decisions about the provision of quality arts and cultural facilities and programs within the Shire.

The role also involves:
  • Advocacy and support to develop arts, cultural and creative activities across the shire.
  • Promotion and building of the capacity of the existing creative arts communities and industries.
  • Promotion and encouragement of the Shire’s arts and cultural facilities, programs, services and events.

Responsibilities include:
  • Public Art
  • Partnerships and Relationship building
  • Community Support

To be successful in this role you will have relevant experience and qualifications, with a Degree or Diploma qualification in arts management or related field and relevant arts management experience or substantial relevant experience in Arts Administration, Cultural Development or similar discipline.
